Information we collect

Account and workspace information

We collect information such as your name, email address, organization, role, authentication details, preferences, and connected-account identifiers.

Contact and outreach information

When you or your organization upload, enter, or import contacts, we process details such as names, job information, company information, phone numbers, email addresses, locations, list membership, and source identifiers.

Calling and follow-up information

We process call instructions, caller IDs, phone numbers, call status and timing, dispositions, notes, and follow-up drafts or actions. When recording or transcription features are enabled, we may process call audio, transcripts, summaries, and related metadata.

Technical and usage information

We collect device, browser, IP address, log, diagnostic, security, and interaction information needed to operate and protect the Services.

AI assistant connectors

When you connect Dorado to an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT, the assistant sends Dorado the tool requests and inputs needed to carry out your instruction. Dorado returns requested workspace information, action status, and results to the assistant.

Dorado does not receive your entire assistant conversation unless the assistant includes part of it in a request to Dorado. Your use of the assistant is also governed by that provider’s own privacy terms. You can disconnect Dorado through the assistant or revoke its access to your Dorado account.

How we use information

• Provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Services.
• Authenticate users and manage accounts, workspaces, and integrations.
• Import contact lists, place requested calls, and provide call and follow-up features.
• Respond to support requests and communicate service-related information.
• Detect abuse, troubleshoot problems, enforce our terms, and comply with law.

How we disclose information

We may disclose information to service providers that help us deliver hosting, communications, telephony, transcription, AI processing, email, security, support, and integration services. They may process information only to provide services to us under appropriate contractual restrictions.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, in connection with a business transaction, or at your direction. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, meet our contractual and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the Services. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and your organization’s settings. We may retain limited records when required by law or for legitimate security and recordkeeping needs.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also disconnect integrations and manage certain information through your account.

To submit a request, email support@withdorado.com. We may verify your identity and authority before completing a request. If you use Dorado through an organization, that organization may control your data and should be your first point of contact.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Services are designed for business users and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our Services or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. We will provide additional notice when required by law.
