Terms of Service

Who may use Dorado

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Services. If you use Dorado for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf, and “you” includes that organization.

Accounts and access

You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account and for ensuring that users in your workspace follow these Terms.

Some features require third-party services, caller IDs, devices, or integrations. You are responsible for maintaining those services and complying with their terms.

Calling and outreach compliance

If you record or transcribe a call, you are responsible for providing notice and obtaining consent where required. Dorado does not provide legal advice or determine whether a specific call, message, contact list, or campaign is lawful.

You must honor opt-out and do-not-call requests and maintain any records required for your outreach.

Acceptable use

You may not use the Services to:

• violate a law, regulation, court order, or another person’s rights;
• harass, threaten, deceive, defraud, impersonate, or unlawfully discriminate;
• send spam or place abusive, deceptive, or unauthorized calls;
• upload data you do not have the right to use or disclose;
• introduce malware, disrupt the Services, evade safeguards or usage limits, or probe for vulnerabilities without permission;
• reverse engineer or attempt to extract non-public source code, except where applicable law permits it; or
• use the Services to build or train a competing product or service.

Your content and data

You retain ownership of contact lists, call instructions, notes, recordings, transcripts, and other content you submit to the Services (“Customer Content”). You grant Dorado a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, transmit, reproduce, and otherwise use Customer Content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the Services and as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have all rights and permissions needed for Dorado to process Customer Content as contemplated by these Terms. You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and integrity of Customer Content.

AI assistants and third-party services

Dorado may connect with AI assistants, telephony providers, contact sources, email services, calendars, and other third-party products. Those products are controlled by their providers and may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.

You are responsible for reviewing requests and results before acting on them. AI-generated or imported content may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate, and you should independently verify important information.

Dorado property

Dorado and its licensors own the Services, including the software, design, branding, and related intellectual property, excluding Customer Content. Subject to these Terms, Dorado grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Services for your internal business purposes.

If you provide feedback, you grant Dorado a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use it without restriction or compensation.

Changes, availability, and beta features

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features. The Services may experience interruptions, errors, or delays. Features identified as preview, beta, or similar are provided for evaluation, may change without notice, and may be less reliable than generally available features.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure, failed to pay applicable fees, or if necessary to protect the Services or others.

Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including those concerning ownership, disclaimers, liability, and disputes.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Dorado disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Dorado does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that their outputs will be accurate or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dorado and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, suppliers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to the Services or these Terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dorado’s total liability for all claims arising from or related to the Services or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Dorado for the Services during the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability or $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Dorado and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, suppliers, and licensors from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your Customer Content, your outreach or communications, your violation of these Terms or law, or your infringement of another person’s rights.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Services or legal requirements change. We will post the revised Terms here and update the effective date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when required by law. Your continued use of the Services after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the changes.
